Director Patrick Y. Lee (15) spent months writing a captivating script throughout the end of his freshman year and summer. For the first time, Lee held a public audition at his school's theatre by advertising on online casting websites in order to attract a more serious group of aspiring actors and actresses. With a professional cast and pre-production complete, he directed a group of nearly twenty cast and crew members through a stressful five days of intense shooting. After nearly 80 hours spent on set over the course of five sleepless days, production was complete. Lee then spent his sophomore winter and spring school breaks to edit the film, before organizing a premiere in April with the Key Club, the largest and oldest service program for high school students in Canada. Based on the overwhelming success of the premiere, Lee was quick to manually create DVDs and sell them in fundraising for the World Wildlife Fund, in addition to the money raised from the premiere. Lee is now submitting to film festivals across the world with hopes that his envisioned story will inspire and stun judges and audiences.
